How is this different from the monthly coaching?

Monthly one-on-one coaching is ongoing and completely individual. Compete & Commit is a time-boxed, 8-week program with a defined curriculum, the Interactive Player Profile®, the full recruiting system, and live webinars with Tom McCurdy. Plenty of athletes do the program first and then continue with monthly coaching afterwards.

Why is it by application?

Cohorts are capped at 30 athletes, and one athlete who isn't invested changes the experience for everyone else. The application and the call let us make sure it's the right fit and the right time for your athlete.

What's the time commitment?

One self-paced mental strength session each week (30–45 minutes), plus the live webinars every other week. It is designed to sit alongside a season, not replace one.

What if we miss a live webinar?

Every webinar is recorded. Athletes who can't make it live watch the recording on their own schedule and don't fall behind.

Who is Tom McCurdy?

Tom is the former head women's golf coach at Wichita State University — a Division I head coach who spent years evaluating recruits at tournaments. He co-leads the live webinars and personally reviews every Interactive Player Profile® before it goes to a college coach.

Do parents take part?

Yes — there are pre- and post-program evaluations for both the student and the parent, and parents get the language and guardrails to support the work without getting in the way of it.
